Once you are an iD member you can enter your students into the iD examination system.
We pride ourselves on offering an approachable and pleasant examination experience to help every candidate perform to their full potential ensuring your school receives healthy exam results.
We offer examination in person and online through Zoom, for more information about our online exams email our office.
All our examiners are friendly, approachable industry professionals and are there
to give an inspired examination experience.
To enter students you must complete our examination form available from head
office at least 2 months prior to your requested exam session. Your session will
then be confirmed and an examiner will be designated to you along with the exam
forms and details of the day.
A minimum number of applicants will be required.

iD does not supply music for examination training.

FEEDBACK
We feel it is vital to know after an examination that each dancer receives feedback on
1 - What they are doing well
2 - What needs to be improved.
Each student will receive a written feed back form for along with their certficate.

DANCE ELEMENT:
Technique exercises: teachers can either create a basic exercise or change any from grade 1
Choreography is to be adapted from the grade 1 set dance
Choose a small section that is age appropriate

You must achieve your full teachers certificate before applying.
MEDAL TESTS
THESE can be taken in any of the following dance genres:
Ballet / Tap / Jazz/ Contemporary / Street / Lyrical.
Dances are to be no longer than two minutes.
Medal tests can be taken as a solo dancer / duo / trio or group.
Any styles can be danced.
Costumes can be worn with full hair and makeup, but not required.
Medal tests are encouraged for all ages.
The Medal test examinations are used as performance preparation for competitions and theatre performance.
You are welcome to take your own photo with the examiner after you perform.

Dancers Exams
Each school wishing to enter students for an exam session is determined individually on location and number of students wishing to take the exam.
A minimum fee is required for exam session to held.
DANCERS Certificates will be posted to the teacher after the exam.
